Banana Bread Recipe

My good friend Hannah introduced me to this recipe a while ago. It is by far the most delicious banana bread I have ever tasted and I promise you will love it too! It is super yummy, takes no time at all and  is an overall hit in my entire family!

You will need:

5 ripe bananas

4 large eggs

280g or 2 and 1/3 cup of normal flour

1 heaped teaspoon of baking powder

150g or 1 cup blueberries

90g or 3/4 cup walnuts

1. Preheat your oven to 180° Celsius or 356° Fahrenheit.

2. Mash 4 and 1/2  bananas with a fork until they become mushy. With a whisk, mix together the eggs and the mushy bananas until well combined. Add the flower and the baking power and whisk for another minute. Now, with a wooden Spoon, add the blueberries and walnuts and carefully mix together the mixture.

3. Put the mixture in a cake tin ( preferably in one for bread) that has been lined with parchment paper. Slice the left over 1/2 banana into 8-10 pieces and put them carefully on the top of the mixture.

4. Bake for 40-60 min or until the loaf is golden brown and the mixture is so longer runny. Take the thin out of the oven and let cool for at least 15 minutes, before serving. Enjoy your banana bread!


You don’t like blueberries? Leave them out or replace them with something else! You are allergic to walnuts? Substitute them with dry fruits or another kind of nut.
