I’ll admit, this may not be the most healthy snack on earth, but my god, it is delicious! Today I am showing you a classic brownie recipe, that is so simple yet super tasty! I hope you enjoy. Its been a while since I wanted to bake me some good old brownies. And when I do want to bake them, I don’t want something super fancy that will take me ages to make. So this classic brownie recipe is super quick with just a few ingredients. The key ingredient is good! chocolate. If you can, use really, really good quality chocolate and not the first one you see at the store. Also, if you can find raw baking cacao powder without any added sugar, that’ll be perfect! Here are all the ingredients you will need:
- 200g chocolate (I used 100g milk chocolate & 100g dark chocolate)
- 3 large eggs
- 200g sugar
- 100g flour (not! self raising)
- 50g cacao powder
- 180g butter
- pinch of salt
If you want to put something else in your brownies, how about some cranberries? You could pour some caramel sauce over it after they come out of the oven. Or even more chocolate? For this recipe, I put some „Kinderschokobons“ in it (google it, if you have no idea what I am talking about!) Boy, what a good decision!
First off, preheat your oven to 180 ° Celcius.
To make the brownies, melt the chocolate and butter in a pan and set aside. Whilst the chocolate butter mixture is cooling down, mix the eggs and the sugar together for five minutes or until the mixture became light yellow and kind of fluffy. With a wooden spoon, add the chocolate mixture in the egg bowl and combine. Lastly you will need to add the flour, cacao powder and the salt to your mixture and combine everything carefully with the wooden spoon. Pour the mixture in a 20x20cm baking tray that is lined with baking paper. Bake your brownies for 30min. After 30 min, just wiggle the pan a bit to see if the mixture has set. Do no overtake them! Brownies should be a little bit gooey! Let them cool for at least 20min before digging in! I hope you will bake this classic brownie recipe, let me know what you think!
